About This Site

The Security community is in desperate need of skilled staff that understand the unique needs of our profession. We want to help build up and train individuals with the skills to reduce the risk of intrusions and improve incident response.

CTF Factory plans and executes Pros v Joes (PvJ) Capture the Flag (CTF) events at several conferences each year, including BSides Las Vegas (BSidesLV), BSides Delwaware (BSidesDE), and BSides D.C, as well as others. The primary purpose of the PvJ CTF activity is to teach both offensive and defensive cybers security skills through hands-on practice of attacking and protecting computer systems in a controlled and isolated environment. The activity is conducted by volunteers who support CTF Factory.
